This assembly focuses on the British Value of Individual Liberty and can also be used as a Famous Faces assembly. Use three items in a box to introduce the life of William Wilberforce and his fight against the slave trade. If you are delivering a collective worship, you will be able to explore Galatians and look at God's intention for us to be free and use our freedom wisely.

This assembly explores the famous jazz musician - Louis Armstrong. Use the three items in the box to explore the life of Armstrong. Look at how, despite suffering discrimination, he chose to respond with joy - through his music, his actions and his infectious smile.
